This site is dedicated to my teaching career. I wanted to be a teacher from an early age. As a child I used
to play school with my little brother and a couple of the neighborhood kid.
I usually was the teacher. By the seventh grade, I knew I wanted to be math teacher. I used my time in high
school to get into and to prepare myself for college. While in high school I also spent time on scouting camp outs and
paticipating with the swim team. I then got into UC Santa Barbara, where I worked on a degree in Mathematics.
I also used my free time working in theatre to broaden my experiences. I spent three years working
on lighting design and a little bit of set design. Durning the summer of my junior year at Santa Barbara I did
a special intership program through the school. I taught Algebra and Algebra II at Lompoc High School with two cooperative
teachers. I then graduated from UC Santa Barbara and am now at CSU San Bernardino. I did my student teaching at
Etiwanda High school. I taught Geometry and Algebra II for eighteen weeks. Now I am in the process of looking
for a teaching job in high school mathematics class.
